EndNote
How to Use EndNote in 5 Minutes
EndNote is an English-language reference management system, that is among the international market leaders and is particularly widespread in natural science and medical fields. Aside from the usual functions of collecting, managing, and exporting references, the program offers a large number of formatting templates and citation guidelines for publications in scientific journals. Additionally, the PDF management is extemely comfortable to work with.
The locally-installed EndNote program is supplemented with a web version, that enables collaborative work, independent of where you are (incl. a smart phone app).

The University Library provides the RWTH Aachen University community (students and staff) with free access to EndNote through a university site license. The licensed version of EndNote can be found in the RWTH Software Portal, where you will also find further guidance on downloading and installing the EndNote software.
