Dimensions
Dimensions can be defined as a linked network for the identification of research findings which covers publications, grants, patents, clinical studies and policy documents.
Dimensions was designed in cooperation with more than 100 international research organisations and provides different document types and their metadata to the user.
Not only the publications but citations and datasets together with rich contextual information are recorded. The platform offers the opportunity to search for and use relevant information, to analyze the academic results within a research area and to generate strategies on the basis of insights into current trends.
Dimensions offers a free version, which covers some options and tools, as well as a commercial version, which requires a license and expands the functionalities. The following tutorials refer to the free version of Dimensions that can be used even outside of the university network via https://app.dimensions.ai/.
