Initiative E-Books.NRW
The Ministry of Culture and Science is providing funding for e-book licences until 2023. With the help of the initiative, students and universities in NRW are to be given state-wide access to a broad spectrum of e-books in terms of content, thus supporting digital teaching.
The university library also benefits from the initiative, so that various e-book packages can gradually be added to the KatalogPlus.
Currently, almost 99,000 e-books from the de Gruyter publishing group and almost 22,500 titles from other publishers have been added to the KatalogPlus and can now be used in the university network.
